How volunteers can help

We are always looking for people to

 

  • help with our local groups
  • assist with our helpline
  • help with running Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide.

If you are interested in contributing to the work of Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide by volunteering, please contact Eric at the national office by e-mail at sobs.admin@care4free.net or telephone 0115 944 1117. Many of our volunteers are themselves survivors of a bereavement by suicide, but some are not. We don't usually take on new volunteers who have lost somebody to suicide less than two years previously.

In particular, we are currently looking for helpline volunteers

Free training including travel expenses will be available for suitable volunteers who are prepared to commit time each month to this vital support service for survivors.
